Welcome to my site!

Behind Dream Always Victorious is… Victoria Vega! I created this name as a motivator for myself, and others to remember to always dream big and not to be afraid to be victorious!

I have always been an artist from a young age. I studied primarily at Cooper Union and Rowan University. I found my love in teaching young students at The Institute of Music for Children in Elizabeth NJ. Through The Institute I was outsourced to different communities such as the Elizabeth Family Success Center and La Casa De Don Pedro bringing meditation and paint sessions as well as mural arts focused on Civic Engagement in the Elizabeth and Newark New Jersey communities.

With the loss of my brother and my mother this late December 2024 and March 2025, I have been called to pursue my dreams in Art Education and Art Therapy. My ultimate goal is to open my own Art Therapy practice to bring hope, joy, and peace to my community, to families like mine who are facing the end of life stages with a loved one and give them the opportunity to create long lasting memories together. My mom was my first Art therapy patient, Mildred Montero. Working with her in her ending weeks showed me how much love needs to be poured into those who are hurting in these moments, and it is my goal to be there for anyone who needs me. I also would like to focus on the youth having a place to be, to learn, to create and feel free to express themselves creatively. My goal is to bring love and joy into this world as my mother Mildred did every day.
