I became a teaching artist in the summer of 2024 at The Institute of Music for Children in Elizabeth NJ. Through the Institute I have been blessed to teach creative arts classes for their summer and after school program. This summer 2025 I will be teaching a creative arts class K-3 and a studio paint class for young adults. I have also been honored to be outsourced to different communities such as Prevention Links Bayway Family Success Center, teaching a second year a painting and meditation class “Brushstrokes and Breaths". One of my favorite opportunities was teaching mural arts through the La Casa De Don Pedro in Newark NJ, focusing on Civic Engagement in the Newark community. I truly enjoy encouraging students to feel free to creatively express themselves and show us the depths of their imagination!
